La scuderia lombarda in grande evidenza nel penultimo atto stagionale della serie tricolore. Il pilota ungherese ottiene un eccellente quinto posto assoluto in gara-1 ed il successo tra i giovani. Week-end in salita per Giovanni Scamardi<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Bilancio sicuramente positivo per Aggressive Team Italia, al termine del quinto e penultimo round stagionale del TCR Italy andato in scena sull\u2019Autodromo Vallelunga. La scuderia guidata da Mauro Guastamacchia non ha deluso le attese della vigilia, firmando con l’ungherese Levente Losonczy uno splendido successo nella speciale classifica riservata ai piloti Under 25 in gara-1, grazie all\u2019eccellente quinto posto assoluto colto sotto la bandiera a scacchi. Un risultato che consente al giovane pilota di Gy\u0151r di consolidare la terza piazza in campionato nella medesima graduatoria, offrendogli al contempo l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di tentare l\u2019assalto alla top ten dell\u2019assoluta nel round finale in programma a Imola.<\/p>\n

Una penalit\u00e0 per un episodio di gara inflitta al termine di gara-2 ha poi impedito a Losonczy di acquisire ulteriori punti utili per il campionato, pur non inficiando su un week-end che lo ha visto costantemente lottare tra i top della serie tricolore. Il fine settimana sul tracciato capitolino non si \u00e8 rivelato altrettanto soddisfacente per il belga Giovanni Scamardi, il quale ha centrato comunque un piazzamento in zona punti al termine di una gara-1 nel corso della quale ha messo in mostra la sua proverbiale grinta a suon di sorpassi.<\/p>\n

La compagine di Siziano guarda ora con fiducia all’epilogo stagionale in programma tra meno di due settimane a Imola, tracciato che in occasione della prima uscita stagionale aveva regalato un fantastico podio assoluto in gara-2 con Losonczy. L’obiettivo \u00e8 ovviamente quello di continuare il trend positivo emerso anche a Vallelunga, dove tutti i membri del team hanno come di consueto lavorato con il massimo impegno al fine di sfruttare al meglio le potenzialit\u00e0 delle Hyundai Elantra N TCR.<\/p>\n

Grazie anche ai test svolti nel corso della settimana precedente sul circuito capitolino, Losonczy ha esordito con un promettente nono tempo nel corso della prima sessione di prove libere, mentre Scamardi ha dovuto fare i conti con la necessit\u00e0 di trovare il giusto feeling con un tracciato per lui sino a quel momento sconosciuto. Complici alcuni problemi di traffico, i risultati delle qualifiche (disputatesi nella mattinata di Sabato 14 Ottobre) non sono stati all\u2019altezza delle aspettative, con Losonczy e Scamardi che si sono classificati rispettivamente in 14ma ed in 23ma piazza.<\/p>\n

La situazione ha preso una piega nuovamente positiva in gara-1, con una perfetta partenza da parte di entrambi i piloti Aggressive Team Italia. Losonczy \u00e8 riuscito a tenersi lontano dai contatti verificatisi nelle prime posizioni, dimostrando grande maturit\u00e0 tattica e capacit\u00e0 di gestione del mezzo. Una strategia che lo ha premiato, visto il sesto posto ottenuto sotto la bandiera a scacchi, poi divenuto quinta grazie alla penalit\u00e0 inflitta ad un avversario. Un risultato che ha consentito al giovane membro della Motorsport Academy ungherese di salire sul gradino pi\u00f9 alto del podio nella graduatoria Under 25, per la gioia del team principal Mauro Guastamacchia e del coach driver Gianni Morbidelli. Dal canto suo, Scamardi ha lottato come un leone partendo dalle retrovie, sino a rimontare alla 14esima piazza che gli ha consentito di artigliare punti validi per la classifica.<\/p>\n

I due alfieri della scuderia lombarda hanno poi cercato di ripetere la bella prestazione del giorno precedente anche in gara-2. La rimonta di Losonczy \u00e8 stata vanificata da una penalit\u00e0 post-gara inflittagli per una manovra di sorpasso giudicata troppo aggressiva dagli Stewards, che lo ha estromesso dalla zona punti. Scamardi \u00e8 risalito fino alla 19esima posizione, non abbastanza per bissare il piazzamento in zona punti colto nella prima manche.<\/p>\n

Mauro Guastamacchia (Team Principal Aggressive Team Italia): <\/strong><\/em>\u201cSiamo soddisfatti per il bilancio del week-end, soprattutto per la splendida prestazione di Losonczy che nella gara di Sabato ci ha regalato grandi emozioni. E\u2019 riuscito a tenersi alle spalle piloti molto pi\u00f9 esperti senza commettere il minimo errore, mentre la macchina da noi fornita non ha palesato alcun tipo di problema. Alla fine \u00e8 arrivato questo bel risultato che ha restituito a lui e tutto il team un grande sorriso. Peccato per il fine settimana non felicissimo di Giovanni, ma siamo convinti che possa fare parte del normale percorso di crescita in quella che per lui \u00e8 la stagione di esordio con questa tipologia di vetture. Adesso andiamo a Imola con l\u2019obiettivo di chiudere in bellezza la stagione e poi pensare al prossimo anno\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Levente Losonczy (pilota Aggressive Team Italia): <\/strong><\/em>\u201cAbbiamo iniziato la giornata di sabato con le qualifiche, ho fatto fatica perch\u00e9 le gomme posteriori perdevano pressione. Ho cercato di sfruttare al massimo la situazione, ma sono dovuto scattare dalla 14ma posizione. Ho fatto una buona partenza e sono riuscito a scavalcare molte auto, ma dietro di me c’erano due Hyundai con un ottimo ritmo e sapevo di non poter commettere errori. Sono riuscito a tenere un passo ottimale concludendo la gara con un ottimo risultato. Inoltre abbiamo vinto nella categoria Under 25! Anche domenica ho avuto una buona partenza, ho percorso la prima curva senza errori. Non ho avuto molte possibilit\u00e0 di sorpasso e sono rimasto rallentato dietro un’Audi che sul rettilineo sembrava irraggiungibile. La mia Hyundai era molto sottosterzante nonostante dei <\/em>piccoli cambiamenti al set-up che abbiamo effettuato prima della gara-2. In questa corsa non era possibile ottenere un risultato migliore, ma sono contento per l’ottimo lavoro effettuato. Ringrazio Aggressive Team Italia per avermi fornito una vettura molto competitiva, Gianni Morbidelli per il suo grande supporto fornitomi nel fine settimana e tutti coloro che mi sostengono\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Giovanni Scamardi (pilota Aggressive Team Italia): <\/strong>\u201cNon \u00e8 andata come avremmo voluto, purtroppo abbiamo faticato sin dall\u2019inizio su questa pista tutt\u2019altro che semplice e che rappresentava una novit\u00e0 per me. Sono contento per i punti conquistati in gara-1, ma in generale ci mancava un po\u2019 di prestazione rispetto al solito e dovremo cercare di capire il motivo. Adesso voglio archiviare questo weekend e guardare avanti con lo stesso entusiasmo di sempre!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Dopo la sfida in programma nel week-end del 20-22 Ottobre sul circuito di Barcellona nel round finale del TCR Europe, Aggressive Team Italia torner\u00e0 in pista nel TCR Italy per l\u2019atto finale della stagione, in programma nel fine settimana del 27-29 Ottobre sull\u2019Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola. AGGRESSIVE TEAM ITALIA ACHIEVES UNDER 25 SUCCESS WITH LOSONCZY IN VALLELUNGA IN TCR ITALY<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lombard team was in great evidence in the penultimate seasonal act of the Italian series. The Hungarian driver achieved an excellent fifth place overall in race 1 and success among the youngsters. Uphill weekend for Giovanni Scamardi<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Definitely a positive outcome for Aggressive Team Italia, at the end of the fifth and penultimate round of the TCR Italy season held at the Vallelunga Autodrome. The team led by Mauro Guastamacchia did not disappoint the expectations of the day before, signing with the Hungarian Levente Losonczy a splendid success in the special classification reserved for Under 25 drivers in race-1, thanks to the excellent fifth place overall achieved under the checkered flag . A result that allows the young driver from Gy\u0151r to consolidate third place in the championship in the same ranking, while at the same time offering him the opportunity to attempt an assault on the top ten overall in the final round scheduled for Imola.<\/p>\n

A penalty for a race episode imposed at the end of race 2 then prevented Losonczy from acquiring further useful points for the championship, although it did not affect a weekend which saw him constantly fighting among the top of the Italian series. The weekend on the Capitoline track did not prove to be equally satisfactory for the Belgian Giovanni Scamardi, who nevertheless achieved a placing in the points at the end of race 1 during which he showed off his proverbial determination with overtakes.<\/p>\n

Siziano’s team now looks with confidence to the seasonal epilogue scheduled in less than two weeks in Imola, a track which on the occasion of the first outing of the season had given a fantastic overall podium in race 2 with Losonczy. The objective is obviously to continue the positive trend that also emerged in Vallelunga, where all team members as usual worked with maximum commitment in order to make the most of the potential of the Hyundai Elantra N TCR.<\/p>\n

Thanks also to the tests carried out during the previous week on the Capitoline circuit, Losonczy made his debut with a promising ninth time during the first free practice session, while Scamardi had to deal with the need to find the right feeling with a track for him until then unknown. Due to some traffic problems, the results of the qualifying sessions (held on the morning of Saturday 14 October) did not live up to expectations, with Losonczy and Scamardi finishing in 14th and 23rd place respectively.<\/p>\n

The situation took a positive turn again in race 1, with a perfect start by both Aggressive Team Italia drivers. Losonczy managed to stay away from the contacts that occurred in the top positions, demonstrating great tactical maturity and ability to manage the vehicle. A strategy that rewarded him, given the sixth place obtained under the checkered flag, which then became fifth thanks to the penalty inflicted on an opponent. A result that allowed the young member of the Hungarian Motorsport Academy to climb to the top step of the podium in the Under 25 ranking, to the delight of team principal Mauro Guastamacchia and coach driver Gianni Morbidelli. For his part, Scamardi fought like a lion starting from the back, until he recovered to 14th place which allowed him to grab valid points for the classification.<\/p>\n

The two drivers of the Lombard team then tried to repeat the good performance of the previous day also in race 2. Losonczy’s comeback was thwarted by a post-race penalty imposed on him for an overtaking maneuver deemed too aggressive by the Stewards, which ousted him from the points zone. Scamardi climbed up to 19th position, not enough to repeat the placing in the points achieved in the first heat.<\/p>\n

Mauro Guastamacchia (Team Principal Aggressive Team Italia):<\/strong> \u201cWe are satisfied with the outcome of the weekend, especially with the splendid performance of Losonczy who gave us great emotions in Saturday’s race. He managed to keep much more experienced drivers behind him without making the slightest mistake, while the car we supplied did not reveal any type of problem. In the end this beautiful result arrived which brought a big smile back to him and the whole team. It’s a shame that Giovanni didn’t have a very happy weekend, but we are convinced that he can be part of the normal growth path in what is his debut season with this type of car. Now we’re going to Imola with the aim of ending the season on a high note and then thinking about next year.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Levente Losonczy (Aggressive Team Italia driver):<\/strong> \u201cWe started the day on Saturday with qualifying, I struggled because the rear tires were losing pressure. I tried to make the most of the situation, but I had to start from 14th position. I made a good start and managed to overtake many cars, but behind me there were two Hyundais with great pace and I knew I couldn’t make any mistakes. I managed to keep an optimal pace and ended the race with an excellent result. We also won in the Under 25 category! I also had a good start on Sunday, I went through the first corner without any mistakes. I didn’t have many chances to overtake and I was slowed down behind an Audi that seemed unreachable on the straight. My Hyundai was very understeering despite the small set-up changes we made before race 2. It wasn’t possible to achieve a better result in this race, but I’m happy with the excellent work done. I thank Aggressive Team Italia for providing me with a very competitive car, Gianni Morbidelli for his great support given to me over the weekend and all those who support me”<\/em><\/p>\n

Giovanni Scamardi (Aggressive Team Italia driver):<\/strong> \u201cIt didn’t go as we would have liked, unfortunately we struggled from the start on this track which was anything but simple and which represented something new for me. I’m happy with the points scored in race 1, but in general we lacked a bit of performance compared to usual and we’ll have to try to understand why. Now I want to put this weekend aside and look forward with the same enthusiasm as always!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

After the challenge scheduled for the weekend of 20-22 October on the Barcelona circuit in the final round of the TCR Europe, Aggressive Team Italia will return to the track in the TCR Italy for the final act of the season, scheduled for the weekend of 27-22 29 October at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola.
