Nell\u2019appuntamento sul circuito di casa, il team diretto da Mauro Guastamacchia conquista degli ottimi piazzamenti con Levente Losonczy e Giovanni Scamardi, quest\u2019ultimo al debutto nella serie europea<\/strong><\/p>\n

Per il secondo weekend consecutivo, \u00e8 stato l\u2019Autodromo Nazionale Monza a vedere come protagonista Aggressive Team Italia, in questa occasione impegnato nel sesto round stagionale del TCR Europe. Un appuntamento che ha visto in azione i due piloti abitualmente presenti nel TCR Italy, ovvero Levente Losonczy e Giovanni Scamardi, con quest\u2019ultimo che ha cos\u00ec fatto il proprio esordio nella prestigiosa serie continentale. In un contesto che ha visto in azione i principali interpreti della categoria a livello europeo, la scuderia diretta da Mauro Guastamacchia non ha affatto deluso le aspettative, conquistando dei positivi piazzamenti all\u2019interno della top ten che vanno a dare continuit\u00e0 al percorso di crescita intrapreso quest\u2019anno dalla scuderia di Siziano nel panorama agonistico continentale.<\/p>\n

Forti dell\u2019esperienza maturata nel fine settimana precedente nell\u2019ambito della serie tricolore, i due alfieri del team lombardo hanno da subito lavorato nella giusta direzione al volante delle Hyundai Elantra N TCR ed in qualit\u00e0 di unici rappresentanti del marchio coreano al via, pur dovendo fare i conti con le bizze del meteo che ha modificato i riferimenti precedentemente acquisiti sul velocissimo tracciato brianzolo. Losonczy ha comunque chiuso la prima giornata sul bagnato con un ottimo sesto tempo assoluto, segno evidente di come il potenziale a disposizione potesse lasciare ben sperare in vista del prosieguo del weekend.<\/p>\n

L\u2019appuntamento con le qualifiche del Sabato \u00e8 iniziato con la pista ancora umida in alcuni tratti. I due piloti hanno spinto sin dalle prime battute: dopo aver fatto segnare il miglior parziale nel secondo settore, Losonczy \u00e8 sfortunatamente finito in testacoda e quindi contro le barriere all\u2019altezza della Variante Ascari, chiudendo anzitempo la propria sessione e rendendo necessaria una lunga interruzione con la bandiera rossa. Una volta ripartita, la qualifica ha visto Scamardi autore di un positivo nono tempo con il crono di 1:58.862, che gli \u00e8 valso la possibilit\u00e0 di conquistare un piazzamento in quinta fila per lo start di gara-1.<\/p>\n

Complici i ritardi accumulati e le difficili condizioni atmosferiche, la Direzione Gara ha deciso di posticipare la prima manche alla prima mattinata di Domenica 24 Settembre. Dopo una positiva partenza, entrambi i piloti Aggressive Team Italia si sono resi protagonisti di una prestazione grintosa ed accompagnata da un competitivo passo gara: alla fine di una sfida estremamente combattuta, Scamardi \u00e8 riuscito a conquistare una splendida settima piazza sotto la bandiera a scacchi, portando in dote al team di Mauro Guastamacchia il miglior piazzamento stagionale nel TCR Europe, mentre Losonczy si \u00e8 reso autore di una buona rimonta che lo ha condotto sino al decimo posto finale.<\/p>\n

Nella seconda manche, il pilota belga (in virt\u00f9 dell\u2019inversione dei primi dieci sulla griglia prevista dal regolamento) ha avuto l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di scattare dalla prima fila dello schieramento. Pur lottando con il coltello tra i denti non \u00e8 riuscito a mantenere il passo dei primi, cedendo progressivamente posizioni ed alla fine chiudendo immediatamente alle spalle del compagno di squadra Losonczy, il quale a sua volta ha bissato il piazzamento ottenuto in gara-1 aggiudicandosi la decima piazza sotto la bandiera a scacchi.<\/p>\n

Mauro Guastamacchia (Team Principal Aggressive Team Italia): <\/strong><\/em>\u201cSiamo orgogliosi di aver rappresentato il nostro Paese nell\u2019unica tappa italiana del TCR Europe, mettendo a segno due buone prestazioni che ci hanno consentito di consolidare la nostra presenza all\u2019interno di questo campionato. Venivamo da un buon risultato ottenuto nel TCR Italy, ed abbiamo cercato di mettere a frutto nel migliore dei modi l\u2019esperienza acquisita per poterci confrontare ai massimi livelli in questo contesto. Un ringraziamento particolare va allo staff del team che ha fatto un lavoro splendido, soprattutto riparando la vettura di Levy in tempi record, cos\u00ec come a tutti i nostri fans che sono venuti a farci visita nel paddock. Adesso proseguiamo con l\u2019obiettivo di continuare a migliorare e proseguire il nostro percorso di avvicinamento alla vetta\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Levente Losonczy<\/strong><\/em> (pilota Aggressive Team Italia): <\/strong><\/em>\u201c<\/strong><\/em>Peccato per quanto accaduto in qualifica: stavo andando davvero molto forte quando probabilmente ho preso una chiazza di umido e sono finito prima nella ghiaia e poi a muro. I meccanici hanno fatto un grande lavoro e sono riuscito a presentarmi al via di gara-1 dove ho concluso al decimo posto. Nella seconda manche ho avuto uno start migliore, il gruppo \u00e8 rimasto compatto a lungo ma le Audi erano davvero veloci in rettilineo e c\u2019era poco che io potessi fare. Alla fine ho preso un cordolo danneggiando lo splitter, ma nonostante questo ho chiuso con un altro piazzamento nei punti. Vorrei ringraziare Aggressive Team Italia, il mio coach Gianni Morbidelli, Fit4Race, Hungarian Motorsport Academy e mio padre per il grande supporto!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Giovanni Scamardi (pilota Aggressive Team Italia):<\/strong> \u201cIl meteo \u00e8 stato in continua evoluzione lungo il weekend e questo non ci ha permesso di sfruttare al meglio i dati acquisiti durante il precedente fine settimana disputato sempre qui a Monza. Mi sono molto divertito soprattutto nella prima gara, dove il passo \u00e8 stato molto buono e sono riuscito ad arrivare a ridosso dei migliori. Peccato per non essere riusciti<\/em><\/p>\n

a sfruttare al meglio la partenza dalla prima fila in gara-2, ma nel complesso posso ritenermi soddisfatto del bilancio del weekend, considerando che ero al mio debutto nel TCR Europe. Ringrazio il team e gli sponsor per il supporto: adesso non vedo l\u2019ora che arrivi la prossima gara per andare a caccia di nuovi obiettivi!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Il prossimo appuntamento in pista per Aggressive Team Itali \u00e8 in programma per il weekend del 13-15 Ottobre, quando andr\u00e0 in scena sul circuito di Vallelunga il penultimo atto stagionale del TCR Italy.<\/p>\n

DOUBLE PLACEMENT IN THE TOP TEN FOR AGGRESSIVE TEAM ITALIA IN THE TCR EUROPE IN MONZA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the event on the home circuit, the team directed by Mauro Guastamacchia achieved excellent placings with Levente Losonczy and Giovanni Scamardi, the latter making his debut in the European series<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the second consecutive weekend, it was the Autodromo Nazionale Monza that saw Aggressive Team Italia as the protagonist, on this occasion involved in the sixth round of the TCR Europe of the season. An appointment that saw in action the two drivers usually present in TCR Italy, namely Levente Losonczy and Giovanni Scamardi, with the latter thus making his debut in the prestigious continental series. In a context that saw the main interpreters of the category at a European level in action, the team directed by Mauro Guastamacchia did not disappoint expectations at all, achieving positive placings within the top ten which give continuity to the growth path undertaken this year from the Siziano stable in the continental competitive scene.<\/p>\n

Strengthened by the experience gained over the previous weekend in the Italian series, the two standard bearers of the Lombard team immediately worked in the right direction at the wheel of the Hyundai Elantra N TCR and as the only representatives of the Korean brand at the start, despite having to having to deal with the vagaries of the weather which changed the references previously acquired on the very fast Brianza track. However, Losonczy ended the first day in the wet with an excellent sixth overall time, a clear sign of how the potential available could give rise to hope for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s qualifying appointment began with the track still damp in some sections. The two drivers pushed right from the start: after having recorded the best partial time in the second sector, Losonczy unfortunately ended up spinning and therefore hitting the barriers at the Variante Ascari, ending his session prematurely and making a long interruption necessary with the red flag. Once the qualifying restarted, Scamardi set a positive ninth time with a time of 1:58.862, which earned him the chance to secure a place on the fifth row for the start of race 1.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the accumulated delays and the difficult weather conditions, the Race Direction has decided to postpone the first heat to the early morning of Sunday 24 September. After a positive start, both Aggressive Team Italia drivers were the protagonists of a spirited performance accompanied by a competitive race pace: at the end of an extremely hard-fought challenge, Scamardi managed to achieve a splendid seventh place under the checkered flag, bringing Mauro Guastamacchia’s team the best seasonal placing in TCR Europe, while Losonczy was the author of a good comeback that took him up to tenth place in the final.<\/p>\n

In the second heat, the Belgian driver (due to the reversal of the top ten on the grid foreseen by the regulations) had the opportunity to start from the front row of the grid. Even though he was fighting with a knife between his teeth, he was unable to maintain the pace of the leaders, gradually giving up positions and in the end closing immediately behind his teammate Losonczy, who in turn repeated the placing obtained in race 1 by winning the tenth place under the checkered flag.<\/p>\n

Mauro Guastamacchia (Team Principal Aggressive Team Italia<\/strong>): \u201cWe are proud to have represented our country in the only Italian stage of the TCR Europe, achieving two good performances which allowed us to consolidate our presence within this championship. We were coming off a good result obtained in the TCR Italy, and we tried to make the best use of the experience acquired to be able to compete at the highest levels in this context. Special thanks go to the team staff who did a splendid job, especially repairing Levy’s car in record time, as well as to all our fans who came to visit us in the paddock. Levente Losonczy (Aggressive Team Italia driver):<\/strong> \u201cIt’s a shame about what happened in qualifying: I was going really fast when I probably got a patch of damp and ended up first in the gravel and then on the wall. The mechanics did a great job and I managed to show up at the start of race 1 where I finished in tenth place. In the second heat I had a better start, the group remained compact for a long time but the Audis were really fast on the straight and there was little I could do. In the end I hit a curb damaging the splitter, but despite this I finished with another placing in the points. I would like to thank Aggressive Team Italia, my coach Gianni Morbidelli, Fit4Race, Hungarian Motorsport Academy and my father for the great support!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Giovanni Scamardi (Aggressive Team Italia driver):<\/strong> \u201cThe weather was constantly changing throughout the weekend and this did not allow us to make the most of the data acquired during the previous weekend also held here in Monza. I had a lot of fun especially in the first race, where the pace was very good and I managed to get close to the best. Too bad we didn’t succeed to make the most of the start from the front row in race 2, but overall I can be satisfied with the outcome of the weekend, considering that it was my debut in TCR Europe. I thank the team and the sponsors for the support: now I can’t wait for the next race to hunt for new goals!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
