L\u2019attesissimo appuntamento con il Tempio della Velocit\u00e0 di Monza \u00e8 finalmente arrivato. Aggressive Team Italia torna in pista nel week-end per affrontare il sesto round stagionale del TCR Europe, la prestigiosa competizione continentale che vede la scuderia diretta da Mauro Guastamacchia ai nastri di partenza con l\u2019obiettivo di ben figurare nella gara di casa. Dopo le prestazioni tutte in crescendo messe in mostra nelle precedenti tappe tedesche al Norisring e al Nurburgring, il team pavese schiera in questa occasione una seconda Hyundai Elantra TCR N affiancando allo spagnolo Pepe Oriola il giovane rookie ungherese Levente Losonczy.<\/p>\n

L\u2019obiettivo del fine settimana sul circuito brianzolo sar\u00e0 quello di dare la caccia alle zone nobili della classifica con l\u2019esperto Oriola, mentre l\u2019occasione sar\u00e0 utile per Losonczy al fine di familiarizzare con una pista ed un campionato per lui totalmente inediti. Entrambi i piloti si sono preparati all\u2019appuntamento di Monza svolgendo una proficua sessione di test sul Cremona Circuit, con il team che non ha voluto lasciare niente al caso in vista di una sfida particolarmente sentita e nella quale potr\u00e0 contare sulla spinta dei propri tifosi.<\/p>\n

Dopo l\u2019esordio avvenuto nel week-end del Norisring, Pepe Oriola ha gi\u00e0 messo in mostra le proprie doti in occasione dell\u2019unica gara andata in scena nel round del Nurburgring, in un fine settimana condizionato dalla nebbia. Il pilota spagnolo \u00e8 riuscito nell\u2019impresa di artigliare un prezioso quarto posto, candidandosi dunque a recitare un ruolo da protagonista in questa parte finale di campionato. Per quanto riguarda Losonczy, invece, dopo la prima presa di contatto con il team avvenuta nel TCR Eastern Europe allo Slovakia Ring (impreziosita da un doppio sesto posto), sono arrivate le utili esperienze nel TCR Italy a Imola e Vallelunga, che hanno consentito al 19enne ungherese di migliorare il proprio feeling con la vettura coreana.<\/p>\n

Mauro Guastamacchia (Team Principal – Aggressive Team Italia):<\/strong> “Siamo tutti molto carichi in vista di questo appuntamento sulla pista di casa. Per il nostro team si tratta di una vetrina importante, nell\u2019ambito di un campionato che proprio in questa occasione presenta il record stagionale di concorrenti al via. Il fatto di correre a Monza ci regala una spinta in pi\u00f9 e ci teniamo assolutamente a fare bene, seppur consapevoli che non sar\u00e0 una sfida affatto facile. Puntiamo sull\u2019esperienza e la velocit\u00e0 di Pepe per inserirci nella lotta al vertice, mentre per Levente sar\u00e0 una bella occasione di misurarsi in un contesto nuovo per accumulare esperienza\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tutto lo staff sta lavorando in modo eccezionale, e ci siamo preparati con molta attenzione per essere sin da subito competitivi. Vedremo anche il debutto di Levente, che ho potuto seguire nelle ultime gare in Italia e ha fatto un ottimo test a Cremona. Levente Losonczy (Driver \u2013 Aggressive Team Italia<\/strong>): \u201cNon mi faccio troppe illusioni, anche perch\u00e9 sono consapevole di stare affrontando una delle sfide pi\u00f9 importanti della mia carriera in questo week-end, visto che sar\u00f2 al mio debutto nel TCR Europe. Mi trover\u00f2 di fronte a piloti che hanno molte stagioni di esperienza sulle spalle, dunque il mio obiettivo sar\u00e0 quello di continuare a crescere insieme al team. Abbiamo avuto un\u2019ottima giornata di test a Cremona e siamo fiduciosi per i progressi mostrati. Monza \u00e8 un circuito di Formula 1, ed essere qui a sole due settimane di distanza dal Gran Premio \u00e8 davvero incredibile! Non vedo l\u2019ora di scendere in pista nella veste di compagno di squadra del mio coach Pepe Oriola: sar\u00e0 una bella emozione\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Il programma del fine settimana prevede nella giornata di Venerd\u00ec 23 Settembre una doppia sessione di prove libere, mentre l\u2019indomani le qualifiche (alle ore 9:30) andranno a determinare la griglia di partenza della prima manche, la quale scatter\u00e0 alle 13:40. Infine, Domenica 25 si svolger\u00e0 gara-2 con il via alle 12:25. Entrambe le gare saranno trasmesse sui canali Social del campionato (Facebook e YouTube), mentre l\u2019ingresso in Autodromo sar\u00e0 gratuito per il pubblico.<\/p>\n

The Italian team on track for the sixth round of the continental series with the Hyundai Elantra entrusted to Pepe Oriola and the rookie Levente Losonczy<\/strong><\/p>\n

The highly anticipated appointment with the \u2018Temple of Speed\u2019 of Monza has finally arrived. Aggressive Team Italia is back on track this weekend to face the sixth round of TCR Europe, the prestigious continental competition that sees the team headed by Mauro Guastamacchia at the starting line with the aim of getting a good result in the home race. After the good performances shown in the previous German stages at Norisring and Nurburgring, the team will field a second Hyundai Elantra TCR N on this occasion alongside the Spaniard Pepe Oriola the young Hungarian rookie Levente Losonczy.<\/p>\n

The goal of the weekend on the Italian circuit will be to hunt down the noble areas of the classification with the expert Oriola, while the opportunity will be useful for Losonczy in order to familiarize himself with a track and a championship totally new to him. Both drivers prepared for the Monza appointment by carrying out a profitable test session on the Cremona Circuit, with the team not wanting to leave anything to chance in view of a particularly heartfelt challenge in which they will be able to count on the thrust of their fans.<\/p>\n

After his debut at the Norisring weekend, Pepe Oriola has already shown his skills in the only race staged in the Nurburgring round, in a weekend affected by fog. The Spaniard managed to secure a precious fourth place, applying to play a leading role in this final part of the championship. As for Losonczy, however, after the first contact with the team took place in TCR Eastern Europe at the Slovakia Ring (embellished with a double sixth place), the useful experiences in TCR Italy arrived in Imola and Vallelunga, which allowed the 19 year old Hungarian to improve his feeling with the Korean car.<\/p>\n

For our team this is an important showcase, in the context of a championship that on this occasion presents the seasonal record of competitors at the start. We had a productive and successful day of testing in Cremona this week which brought us promising progress. The weekend program includes a double free practice session on Friday 23 September, while the next day qualifying (at 9:30) will determine the starting grid of the first heat, which will start at 13:40 . Finally, on Sunday 25th race-2 will take place with the start at 12:25.
